1:350 Scale U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Refit/A (Polar Lights) - Lighted

HUGE! This hyper detailed model of the Starship Enterprise is almost 3 feet long.

Check out a gallery of images of a NCC-1701 Refit build here.

You can request a build of either the NCC-1701 Refit (from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II, Star Trek III) OR the NCC-1701-A (Star Trek IV - VI).

For the lighting, I will install a system produced by Trekmodeler.

The features of the lighting system:

  • Full interior lighting, including the Cargo/Shuttle Bay, the Officers Lounge, and the Arboretum
  • Working strobes and running lights
  • Allows the model to switch from “Warp Mode” to "Stand-By" mode
  • Fading effects that make the navigational deflector fade on and off while transitioning from stand-by mode to warp mode

This very cool model features several detailed interior sections:

Officers Lounge

Arboretum

Shuttle Bay

You can request which shuttles are included and whether you want them glued down to the shuttle bay floor.

I also use photo etch details produced by Paragrafix to enhance the accuracy of the model. Included with these photo etch pieces are 1:350 scale crew members, which I will include in the interior detail sections (unless you request that I exclude them).

Additional Options

There are several "upgrades" or extra features I can add to the build for a minimal additional cost. These include:

  • Shuttle bay sequential running lights
  • Photon torpedo firing effect and sound
  • And more!

You can see/hear these features in this video tour:

Build Time

This is by far the most requested model I offer. I group builds of the ship into "waves" in which I construct several (as many as four) simultaneously. When a new build is commissioned, it's put into the queue in the order it was commissioned. At the time you contact me to commission the build, I will discuss with you the estimated timeframe.

Shipping

imageThis is a very large and heavy model, which accounts for the shipping/handling cost. It will be packaged professionally, very carefully to prevent damage.  Because this model is not only very large but fragile, I have found the safest way to ship it is via freight. (Here's more information about why I do not ship via other methods.) I can get you an estimate of the cost to ship to your location.

Payment Plans

I have several payment options, including installments (requiring a down payment covering the cost of the model, supplies, etc.). Please contact me directly to inquire about purchasing this build with a payment plan.

You May Also Pay in Full

You may also pay in full upfront if you wish (not including the shipping cost, as it can change between the time of commissioning and completion of the build, and must be calculated based on your location).

Price: $2575.00 + shipping TBD
