Models Depicted in Photos Were Built by Me

This is the classic kit that was repackaged and released to tie in with Star Trek VI. I've had the kit sitting in my closet for some time. This kit is no longer being produced by Round2 since they released their big 1:350 scale version.

I have built several of these in the past, both for myself and for clients.

Here are a couple galleries of those builds.

• The first gallery, here, features two different builds of the K'Tinga, generally painted like the battle cruisers seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture
• The second gallery, here, features a build of the model as the Qo'Nos One, seen in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Several options and customizations are available if you choose to commission this model.

First, you can have it built without lighting or with.

If you choose to have it lighted, lighting effects will include:

• Lit interior (windows, etc.)
• Engines
• Blinking beacons
• Torpedo launchers

Second, you can choose whether to have the model painted as a "typical" K'Tinga cruiser like the I.K.S. Amar in Star Trek: The Motion Picture or as the Qo'Nos One.

Third, there are third party resin replacement parts and add-ons that can be used to make both versions more accurate to the ships seen onscreen. For example, the kit bridge piece is inaccurate, but I can replace it with a more accurate resin bridge. There are also some other replacement parts for making the model more accurately represent the Qo'Nos One.
